The Winking Man is a traditional Free House country pub which offers quality beers from Coors alongside superb guest beers. We are situated in the beautiful Peak District National Park close to the Roaches. We offer superb home cooked food and a family friendly atmosphere in a beautiful location.  Our large function room has the distinction of being the highest function room in England (1500 foot above sea level) and is ideal for weddings, birthdays, parties or corporate events.

The Winking Man welcomes caravans and Motor Homes.  We have electric hook up points available at very reasonable costs, so why not relax, stay a while and thoroughly enjoy our fantastic location and excellent hospitality.
